About Colin
Originally from San Francisco, Colin has taught music production in a variety of settings, including alongside YouTube star "Quadeca." He has also worked with acclaimed producers such as DallasK ("Work From Home" by Fifth Harmony).
For the past 9 years, Colin has been producing electronic music. He has experience with sub-genres such as house, dubstep, synthpop, drum and bass, psytrance, synthwave, hyperpop, breakcore, ambient, lo-fi and more. He also has experience creating music and sound effects for video games and other visual media.
As a recording, mixing, and mastering engineer, Colin has worked on rock, pop, RnB, choral, a cappella, solo and ensemble classical, jazz, and more.
Colin is most proficient with Ableton, but can teach Logic Pro X, FL Studio, and Reaper.

YouTube tutorials on production often give pointed answers rather than providing a fundamental understanding of music production. Since I'm self-taught and have studied music production at the collegiate level, my wholistic teaching approach will give you the skills to make the music of your dreams. I've helped over 30 students on Superprof reach their goals.
That being said, we'll start by planning short-term and long-term goals, and put together a personalized plan of study based on your previous experience (if any). Then we'll jump right into making your preferred genre of electronic music.
