About Junior
I am a Chemical Engineer and Master in Process Analysis and Simulation from the Technological University of Havana, Cuba. I have more than 6 years of experience in teaching subjects related to the profile of the Chemical Engineer as an Assistant Professor at the university. In the field of research I have worked in the simulation and process analysis (eg production of detergents, thermo-energy systems, thermo-conversion processes of biomass, economic analysis). I also have a Bachelor Degree in General Education (Profile of Exact Sciences) from the Pedagogical University of Havana, where I taught for two years.

My teaching methods are based on the Joint Elaboration, based on the dynamic interaction with the students, as well as the Independent Work. The classes are flexible pointing out to individual or group needs. A typical class can be divided into 4 sections (similar to scientific publications): (i) Introduction, where the problem to be solved is presented, a revision is made of the tools known up to that moment and the possible limitations to be applied. In this way the motivation for the acquisition of the new content is left open, (ii) Materials and methods or development, the new methodology is presented, as well as the concepts and techniques associated with it, (iii) Results and discussion, the Situation raised in the introduction after applying the new tools, (iv) Conclusions, a summary of the content given is made and the new routes are proposed. I am passionate about sharing knowledge in a dynamic, inclusive and cooperative environment. Classes cover all levels of education from basic to higher, can be taught in English.

He trabajo con el profesor Junior desde que empecé el segundo año de la carrera de Ingeniería Química en la Universidad Tecnológica de La Habana. Hemos realizado disímiles de trabajos juntos en las especialidades de integración energética, sistema termoenergético, simulación y análisis energético en refinerías de petróleo, plantas de detergentes y centarles azucareros. Además fue tutor de mi tesis de grado, la cual se trataba de una optimización ligada a la integración de procesos. Es un profesor digno de confianza, una persona que cuenta con los conocimientos y habilidades necesarias para impartir materias. De hecho, a lo largo de su trayectoria como profesor ha impartido clases de asignaturas como Blaance de masa y energía, flujo de fluidos, Termodinámica, entre otras. El profesor Junior es una persona muy competente y muy preparado. Además posee conocimientos de inglés y francés. Realemnte ha contribuido a mi desarrollo como profesional.
