About Oliver
Hi :) I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching style to suit individual needs—whether that's reinforcing the basics or tackling more challenging topics. I achieved a very high 9 in GCSE Edexcel maths and an A* in A-level OCR maths, and I have 2 years experience working with students of varying abilities. My goal is not only to help you improve your grades but also to make maths feel less intimidating and more enjoyable. I'm patient, encouraging, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment. I am a Winchester College graduate student (4th best performing private school in the UK in 2024) studying Maths, Physics, Design and an EPQ. I was unprepared for the jump from GCSE to Sixth Form and I wish I had someone there to guide me. But now I’ve gone through it, I can be the person who can support the transition to A-level. I have 2 years' experience as a tutor at my local Kumon Centre (a popular global tutoring company). I teach subjects in depth as well as breadth at a speed that ensures complete understanding of topics and exam technique. This will equip you with the confidence to ace your exam.
