About Jessica
Jessica is a vibrant professional flautist and teacher who has over 10 years experience within her field.
As part of Salford Symphony Orchestra, Jessica has worked with the BBC- featuring in national television advertisements for the FA cup. She has won the Sylvia Swiffin Award for outstanding performance, and has been featured in various theatrical performances across Stoke-on-Trent and Manchester.
Jessica graduated with a first class honours at the University of Salford and has continued her studies at the University of Cardiff, specialising in flute performance. She has been tutored by many renowned flautists such as Ian Clarke, Michael Cox, Wissam Boustany, Lorna McGhee and Laura Jellicoe ( RNCM). She has also taken lessons on the piano, clarinet, oboe and saxophone.

Jessica’s approach to teaching is both professional and friendly- she tailors each lesson the individuals needs and motivates each pupil in the same way that her teachers have inspired her. I have known Jess for many years, she is a kind and patient person who has time for anyone! She has vast knowledge of the flute and has dedicated her life to her passion and talent. Jess is a fabulous tutor and welcomes beginners of all ages with open arms. I would recommend Jess to anyone wanting to learn the art of the flute from any age of any experience.
No matter what level you can play the flute Jessica will try to take you to the next level ,she's so easy going and friendly and by only having half a dozen lessons I have improved so much .

Jess is a very kind and patient tutor. I would recommend her to others who are looking to learn more about the flute as she pushes and inspires you to get the best out of playing. She recommended some great breathing techniques to me that have really improved the way I play.
She is so kind and happy, she is very positive and passionate and flute and takes it very seriously and would do nothing to jeopardise her position after working so hard. Jess would be a great person to work along side and tutor everyone will love her because she is enthusiastic go smash it girl! X
