About Nicole Joy
Hi there! My name is Joy and I’m a dedicated and patient piano teacher who believes music should be both disciplined and joyful. Having trained professionally, performed in various recitals, and competed internationally, I value strong fundamentals, musical expression, and confidence at the piano.
I especially enjoy teaching young beginners and watching them grow from their very first notes into independent players. My goal is to create a warm, encouraging environment where students feel supported, motivated, and excited to learn. Teaching allows me to share my love for music while helping each student build lifelong skills, creativity, and self-confidence through piano.

Experienced and dedicated private piano teacher offering home visit lessons for young beginners. Lessons are tailored to build strong fundamentals, musicality, and confidence in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

Teaching Level & Fees
• Practical : £55 per 1-hour lesson (Face-to-face only)
• Theory : £30 per 1-hour lesson (Face-to-face and online)
• Lessons conducted at the student’s home
• Student must have a piano or keyboard available
Music Qualifications
• Practical: Graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (Singapore), ATCL Diploma (Trinity College London)
• Theory: ABRSM Grade 5
Teaching & Performing Experience
• 3 years experience teaching young children aged 3–4 years old
• Held solo piano recital “Rêvasser”
• Performed at Soehanna Hall as a Diamond Winner of APCS Festival
Awards & Competition
Diamond Winner at APCS Festival, finalist in Music SIPVC, HKYPAF and SIPC international competitions, 1st prize winner at IGMF, 2nd prize winner at RIPC Charleston Piano Competition, etc.
