About Berna
Hello, I am a third grade student at METU elementary school mathematics teacher. For 3 years, I have been giving private or group lessons to students of different levels, face to face and online. I continue to improve myself in both mathematics and mathematics education. My goal has always been to provide students with a quality and logical mathematics education.

I start my lesson by getting to know the student and asking his / her goals and expectations from the lesson. Later, if there is a lack of subject, I explain the subject briefly in a way that is not based on rote, then I continue by solving sample questions. If the student does not lack the subject, I can help with problems that he / she has difficulty solving. My course work is student-centered. Rather than explain and go through the question, I would ask the student to solve the question and share their ideas. Instead of directly telling the student that the answer is wrong, I try to guide the student and make him realize his / her shortcomings.
