About Afia
I am passionate about teaching Maths. I love there can only be one answer but many different ways to achieve it.
Having taught in schools, small groups and 1 to 1 lessons, I am able to adapt on the spot and pivot sessions when needed to help students.

With KS1 and KS2 students - My sessions are more interactive as they are actively engaged the whole time, using online tools.
With KS3 and G.C.S.E students - My sessions focus more on exam techniques, understanding key terminology and are student centred. Sessions range from 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on students. 1-1 sessions are personalised for each student helping build confidence over time and able to offer immediate feedback.
I am a qualified teacher with over 10 years of experience private tutoring.
