I bring 13 years of experience as an artist in the film industry, having worked with renowned companies such as WetaFX (for Peter Jackson) and on major Disney and Marvel productions. My passion for teaching stems from my own educational journey, where I achieved top grades with the guidance of a professional tutor. Aimed at GCSE and A-Level students looking to level up!
Lessons will include
-Individual Feedback: Personalized feedback on students projects, focusing on areas they can improve. Discuss techniques, composition, and colour choices.
-Skill Development: Teach specific skills or techniques that can enhance their artwork, perspective, or using different mediums.
-Inspiration and Research: Encourage students to research different artists and styles. This can inspire their own work and help them understand various techniques.
-Portfolio Building: Guiding students in creating a strong portfolio that showcases their best work. Help them select pieces that demonstrate their skills and creativity.
-Exam Techniques: Teaching students on how to effectively plan and execute exam pieces, including time management and idea development.
-Mock Critiques: Conduct mock critiques where they present their work. This helps them articulate their ideas and receive constructive feedback from peers.
-Encourage Experimentation: Motivate students to experiment with different materials and techniques, allowing them to find their unique style.
-Mindfulness and Reflection: Encourage students to reflect on their work and the creative process, which can enhance their understanding and growth as artists.
