I earned my Bachelor's degree in Human Services with a concentration in Addiction Studies and Mental Health. I worked as a Board Certified Substance Abuse Case Manager and Counselor in the Chicago Suburbs for two years after completing my internship at the same hospital necessary to complete my degree and become state board certified.

I like to keep people's attention when teaching. I am constantly trying to engage my audience in every lesson that I teach no matter what the topic might be. I keep people's focus by asking questions relating to the material. I like to use PowerPoint presentations that are bright and colorful and use up-to-date technology to bring my class to life.
