About Kara
# ️ Why I Want to Tutor Phonics & Early Reading
Reading is such an important part of a child’s education, and I have always felt incredibly passionate about helping children become **confident and enthusiastic readers**.
Through my experience working in primary education and specialising in phonics, I have seen how much of a difference the right support can make. Sometimes a child simply needs something explained in a different way, a little more time to practise, or someone to believe in them.
I particularly love seeing that moment when a child suddenly **blends a word independently, recognises a word they’ve been practising, or picks up a book and realises, “I can read this!”**
That is why I want to offer tutoring specifically focused on **phonics and early reading**.
My aim isn't just to help children read more accurately. I want to help them develop **confidence, independence and a love of reading**, while making sessions enjoyable and completely suited to their individual needs.
I want every child I work with to leave a session feeling **proud of what they have achieved and excited to keep learning**. ️

# Phonics & Early Reading Tutoring
**Helping children become confident, fluent readers!** ️
Is your child finding phonics, reading or blending tricky? Or would they benefit from a little extra confidence and practice outside of school?
I offer **fun, supportive 1:1 tutoring sessions specialising in phonics and early reading**, designed around your child’s individual needs.
