About Lucy
My name is Lucy and I am a primary school teacher working in England.
Growing up, I had my heart set on being a lawyer. I studied a Law degree and even worked in a Law Firm for a while. Unfortunately, the reality was not as enjoyable as I had hoped so I needed to think aboutwhere I wanted my future to go. From being a little girl, I had always ‘taught’ my toys and would create classrooms in my bedroom to teach them what I’d learnt at school that day - I loved it! Thinking back to these times made me think, “Wow! I think I could be a really good teacher.’
I began training to teach during COVID-19, while working full time as a care worker, and absolutely loved it. I’ve never looked back since!
