A bit about me: I have always wanted to be a teacher! I love my job, and feel so lucky that I get to have an impact on the newest generation. I love being creative- I enjoy drawing, and crochet and painting! I love learning new things, and always try to challenge myself. I am currently learning Japanese!

Hi! My name is Evie Russell. I graduated from the University of Chichester with a BA Hons in Primary Education, specialising in English Language. I have been lucky enough to work with over 200+ pupils during my teaching career.
I have spent the last 2 years working as an SEND teacher, in a resource base for children with complex learning difficulties. I strongly believe in making learning accessible for all, and use a plethora of strategies to adapt learning for each individual. Learning should be fun; I empathise with the fact that this statement isn’t true for every child. I aim to make my lessons engaging, and enjoyable.
My lessons cater towards primary aged children (6-11), and individuals with special needs (ASD, ADHD, DLD, SLCN).
I also work with children in secondary settings, who have special needs/ need additional support.
