About Abigail
I am currently a Primary school teacher of a year 4 class inspiring young minds and instilling a self-belief into those who think they can't, proving they can. My love for teaching started at a young age where I began volunteer teaching gymnastics at age 12, given my own classes at 14 and acquired my qualification at 16. Following my 3 A levels in Mathematics, Spanish and Business, I obtained a First Class Honours degree in Primary Education degree with a specialism in Physical Education. My broad subject knowledge and pedagogical knowledge along with an enthusiasm for teaching equips me with the skills to allow me to have the honour of inspiring young minds; something I love to continue to do on a 1:1 basis.

I am currently a Primary school teacher of a year 4 class inspiring young minds and instilling a self-belief into those who think they can't, proving they can. My love for teaching started at a young age where I began volunteer teaching gymnastics at age 12, given my own classes at 14 and acquired my qualification at 16. Following my 3 A levels in Mathematics, Spanish and Business, I obtained a First Class Honours degree in Primary Education degree with a specialism in Physical Education. My First Class Honours degree in Primary Education alongside being a full-time teacher has equipped me with a broad pedagogical knowledge. Day to day, my job is to find ways of getting through to children on an individual level and finding what works to support their learning journey. Due to a broad range of subject knowledge, I can offer a wide range of classes from academic subjects to gymnastics classes. Although the primary curriculum is my specialty, not long coming from education myself, I am vastly aware of the secondary curriculum and have tutored maths to help prepare for GCSEs. Class timings are flexible and dependent on the child but half an hour to 1 hour slots are recommended (especially for young children) as to be enough time to make a difference without overloading after school.
