About Hema
I am a fully qualified and experienced Primary School teacher, currently teaching Y4 full time. I am very familiar with the whole primary maths curriculum as I have taught all the different year groups from Y1 to Y6 in the past 8 years. I have taught pupils as part of a whole class , in small groups and also as 1 to 1.
I have been tutoring on the weekends for the past 3 years as well.

I teach my pupils from where they are at, after assessing them properly. I find out where they struggle and go from there. I believe all children can learn with perseverence and make progress when the methods shown to them are clear and child friendly. I believe in working with pupils at a pace that is comfortable for them and then challenging them to reach their true potential.
