About Lucy
Hi, my name is Lucy and I am currently visiting Australia for a year. Back home, I am a primary school teacher where I teach all subjects within the national curriculum to my class of 30 pupils. I have been a class teacher for 3 years and I am returning to my job in September 2024, I have been granted this year as a sabbatical by my school to travel Australia. I am having a great time on my travels but would love to find a way to keep teaching while out here!
Within my career so far, I have established many good professional relationships with colleagues, parents and pupils. I have received a lot of praise regarding my work and ability to help every child in my class make progress at their own pace/ability level.

I can offer half hour maths tuition to your primary school aged children to help them with any areas of their maths learning. I would work hard to get to know how your child learns best and incorporate this into the planning of the sessions. For example, learning with many visual prompts, learning through games or learning through real-life scenarios.
I would make the sessions fun and engaging while helping them make progress with their maths understanding.
