About Lucy
I am a primary school teacher, where I mainly teach in early years. I have a passion for education and I love teaching. Prior to this I have a degree in Geography from Durham University, I graduated with a upper second class honours. At school myself I got A*-As.

My teaching method is scaffolding the learning for each individual person, through this method it allows their learning to develop and build up in a manageable way. Through this scaffolding, I allow for independent reflection and application so the learner can both self assess and raise any questions of clarification, confusion or curiosity. I’m a big believer in application of learning so always ensure this is part of the lesson, allowing consolidation of the learning.
