About Angelina
I’m a friendly and approachable person who genuinely enjoys working with children and helping them grow in confidence. I love creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving at their own pace.
I have experience teaching students with different learning needs, including SEN students, and I have also volunteered with a charity supporting children from less privileged backgrounds by providing tuition sessions. These experiences have helped me understand that every student learns differently and needs the right encouragement and support.
My teaching style focuses on patience, encouragement, and building confidence rather than using pressure or strict methods. I believe that when students enjoy learning and understand the "why" behind maths, they become much more motivated and independent.
For younger students, I focus on developing strong foundations and helping them enjoy maths while building their confidence. For older students preparing for exams, I place more emphasis on exam techniques, past paper practice, and strategies to maximise marks. My goal is always to help students make real progress, whether that means catching up, improving their grades, or reaching their full potential.

Hi, I'm Angelina! I'm a Mathematics student at King's College London with over 3 years of tutoring experience, helping students from Primary to A-Level improve their maths skills and confidence.
I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths and an A* in A-Level Maths. I also worked full-time for one year at a well-known maths tuition centre, mainly teaching Primary and GCSE students, and have experience volunteering in a primary school.
I’m a friendly and patient tutor who believes that every student can improve in maths with the right support and guidance. My lessons are tailored to each individual student, focusing on their specific challenges and goals. I aim to build strong mathematical foundations, improve problem-solving skills, and help students feel more confident when approaching maths. Lessons would range from 1 to 2 hours.
For exam preparation, I focus on past paper practice, exam techniques, and understanding common mistakes to help students feel fully prepared. Whether a student is looking to catch up, improve their grades, or push towards top marks, I create a supportive and encouraging environment where they can learn at their own pace and achieve their goals.
