About Scarlett
My name is Scarlett, I have completed both my GCSEs and A-Levels and am now in my first year studying for my degree.
I took a gap year before starting university where I worked in schools and did some travelling. I went to Sri Lanka to volunteer at a dog rescue centre for a month with an organisation which was incredibly rewarding and I was able to learn a lot about myself and try something new.
I thoroughly loved my time as a TA and adored being able to see my students grow and learn things they thought they couldn't do. We found ways together to make learning enjoyable and I believe that greatly benefitted me as well as them.

I do not use a specific approach when it comes to teaching, I find the most productive way to teach is to find what works best for individual students and then create a teaching plan specified to their needs and strengths as every child is different and learns in different ways.
I worked as a teaching assistant and worked closely with SEN students so am happy to work with any primary school-age children for however long is needed.
