My teaching style emphasizes guiding students to become independent, self-motivated learners. I help students learn how to explore, question, and find answers on their own. I introduce effective self-study techniques. During sessions, I model how to break down complex topics and how to structure personal study time for maximum retention and understanding.
Each session begins with a brief review of what the student has learned through self-study or in class. Then, I help fill in gaps in understanding, answer questions, and go over strategies for tackling difficult material. We practice applying knowledge through problem-solving or discussion, and end the lesson with a self-study plan: clear, actionable steps the student can take independently before our next session.
I am committed to empowering students to take charge of their own learning. I know from experience that self-study is one of the most powerful tools a student can master. I coach students not only on subject content but on how to study effectively, how to stay motivated, and how to measure their own progress. I support them both during and beyond our sessions.
My lessons are ideal for high school or advanced middle schoolers, who are ready to become more independent in their learning. Whether you're preparing for AP exams, college-level coursework, or just want to build better study habits, I tailor each session to your academic level, goals, and interests.
