About Caleb
I remember very well being a high school student taking my first math class. Prior to high school, my lowest grade was always in math, even though I felt like I picked it up easier than other subjects. What I learned from this, however, is that math is something you learn through consistent practice. I ended up graduating rank #11 in my class after practicing this new method of study. On top of this, I used to help my old friends with math homework online on top of school.
I'm not much older than you likely are taking that class, and I have a lot of admiration of you for even looking for a tutor. It takes a lot of humility and you are already taking the first steps to excelling in your class.
For the parents: I admire how much you care for your children's education and am honored to even be considered to be a participant in your child's education. I promise to challenge your student and push for mastery in every topic.

I believe, not only in mathematics but in study in general, that practice is the best way to master a subject. After finishing each of my classes, I saved the worksheets and notes that helped me excel and am eager to use these resources to help you excel as well. I wish to help students from K-12, or up until Calculus I. I also have experience taking the AP test for Calculus AB and can offer some help.
While in high school, I was Vice President of our Math Honors Society after ranking first and second in competitions in previous years. There, I experienced teaching for the first time, working through problems with the members of the society to later compete in a national competition.
My lesson plan consists firstly of covering material through written notes, working through example problems, and explaining methodologies. Following this, I will give the student problems to try working on their own while I guide them through steps they have trouble understanding.
