Anuschka always surprises me with her insight into my work and helps me see my work from a different perspective. I have learnt about my drawing & painting style, and she has helped me find the golden thread between the various mediums that I work with. She has helped me develop my observation skills and through her I have become more confident as an artist.

She has the patience of a saint. Most teachers drawn you in their options and suggestions but she lets you be yourself and helps you find the solution within yourself. Her classes were amazing experiences. I was reminded why I love art. Was inspired again. And none the less, her classes are fun. We always have a good laugh.

I have been attending art classes and workshops run by Anuschka for about a year and I wholeheartedly recommend her as a teacher. She is an extremely knowledgeable and skilled artist and a warm, kind, funny teacher who really knows how help students at all levels develop their artistic practice in interesting directions and grow in confidence. I started oil painting again thanks to her classes, my drawing and painting have become much stronger, and I have more fun with my art practice - the perfect outcome, really!

I have partnered with Anuschka on a number of projects including a stop motion animation we co-produced. She is always reliable and articulate when it comes to navigating the practical side of things. As a creative, she is an accomplished artist, writer and visionary - she has a thorough knowledge of contemporary art and art history, as well as the professional art world which really helped navigate project submissions.

I’ve also had the pleasure of attending Anuschka’s weaving and life drawing workshops in Edinburgh - She can explain high level concepts with fluency and ease and is fun and super engaging to talk to about finding inspiration, technical questions and much broader art discussions - all while being extremely warm and down to earth. Anuschka is very open about sharing her knowledge, making her classes a collaborative and positive space that I look forward to being a part of.
