About Brenda
I am a practicing glass artist, gallery owner and business woman. I have been teaching my art glass skills for over 20 years to children and people of all abilities in private classes and in groups. I have taught and mentored numerous students from beginners to visual artists experimenting with a new medium. Many students learn for fun and others as a career pathway. I also teach advanced levels of each technique to further enhance and develop glass skills art.

Teaching for me is empowering a person with a skill or with knowledge to enrich their lives. Each student learns differently and my methodology is to develop a way to cater to the individual learning needs of the student. I teach using a hands on approach, as creating art is a visual learning experience as much as a gathering of knowledge. Formal learning materials are supplied to further enhance and encourage learning. I further create a conducive learning environment to enhance the learning experience.
