About Prajna
As a dedicated postgraduate student and experienced home tutor, graduated as an Electrical Engineer, I am committed to providing high-quality, student-focused academic support. I have worked closely with KS2 and KS4 students, helping them strengthen their understanding of key subjects through clear explanations, structured guidance, and consistent encouragement.
My approach is patient, supportive, and adaptable, ensuring that each lesson is tailored to the learner’s individual needs and pace. I place strong emphasis on building confidence, improving problem-solving skills, and developing effective study habits that lead to long-term academic progress.
With a solid foundation in both subject knowledge and teaching experience, I strive to create a positive and professional learning environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and actively engage. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to inspire confidence and independent learning.

My tutoring approach is student-centred, focusing on understanding individual learning needs and adapting explanations to suit each learner’s pace and style. I use simple, practical examples to break down complex concepts and encourage active participation through questioning, discussion, and regular practice. I also support students with exam techniques, homework guidance, and confidence-building strategies to improve both performance and motivation.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, allowing enough time to introduce concepts, practise questions, and review understanding.
I am a postgraduate student with hands-on experience as a home tutor, supporting KS2 and KS4 students (Grades 6 and 9) as well as +2 Science students /A Level students in daily studies, homework and exam preparation. This experience has strengthened my ability to explain topics clearly and adapt to different learning abilities.
My lessons are designed for primary and secondary school students who need academic support, exam preparation, or help improving confidence in core subjects.
