About Luke
Hello my name is Luke and I am a MSc Applied AI postgraduate student at the University of Warwick. I also hold a BSc First Class Honours degree from Warwick in Computer Science, one of the UK's top-ranked programmes for the subject
At A-Level I achieved A*s in both Maths and Further Maths as well as grade 9s in GCSE Maths and a top grade (A) in the Free Standing Maths Qualification. I know the syllabi inside out, from GCSE foundations right through to the most challenging A-Level modules.
Over the past four years I have tutored students at GCSE, A-Level and undergraduate levels and also tutor through Leading Education, one of the UK's leading private tutoring agencies, helping them build genuine understanding and go on to achieve results they are proud of. I teach across all major exam boards including AQA, Edexcel and OCR.

My lessons are structured, focused and built around what you actually need, whether that is filling in gaps in your understanding, tackling past papers or mastering exam technique before a big sitting.
I start every student with a short diagnostic to identify exactly where they are struggling so we never waste time on topics they have already mastered. From there I use clear, step-by-step explanations and real-world examples to make abstract concepts click, the same approach that helped me achieve A*s myself.
Every lesson includes targeted practice questions and, where appropriate, timed past paper sections. Students I teach do not just pass, they learn how to think mathematically which makes the exam feel manageable rather than daunting.
I cover all topics across GCSE (Foundation and Higher) and A-Level Maths including:
- Pure Mathematics (algebra, calculus, trigonometry and proof)
- Statistics (data, probability and hypothesis testing)
- Mechanics (kinematics, forces and moments)
I am patient, encouraging and completely adaptable to your learning style. The first lesson is always free so there is no risk in getting started.
