About Rosie
I'm currently employed as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of British Columbia. My role primarily involves processing and analyzing airborne LiDAR data in order to quantify the volume of water stored within the snowpack in large watersheds in southwest British Columbia. I was previously employed as a PhD researcher at the University of Edinburgh, where I led research focused on satellite and UAV remote sensing of debris-covered glaciers in high mountain regions.

With a PhD in Atmospheric and Environmental Science, I have strong expertise in geospatial analysis, remote sensing, UAV surveying, programming, statistics, machine learning and several branches of atmospheric science.
I have lots of experience tutoring these subjects from previously tutoring, demonstrating and lecturing for a number of undergraduate courses at the University of Edinburgh.
I can provide help with the use of many programmes, such as QGIS, ArcMap, GDAL, Python, MATLAB, R, Agisoft and Pix4D. I can also help to advise on specific projects or provide structured lessons, depending on what your exact needs are!
