About Amber
After having spent over a year in tutoring myself before taking the 11+ exam to aid my reasoning, I would love to be able to help others the same way my tutor did for me. I understand the importance of good English skills, both written and verbal, especially later in life, and know that, for some, these skills are harder to master than for others. I’ve always been a straight A student when it came to English and, having aided younger students to get those grades themselves in the past, would love to be able to help you do the same!

I will happily adapt my teaching style and how I work to best suit the way in which you learn and the areas which you most want to work on. I typically would run a lesson for anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour, but am happy to shorten or lengthen as required. I spent 5 years as a student at a Grammar school after passing my 11+ and continued on there through my A-Levels, where I studied English Language, and spent several years there tutoring younger students. My lessons are typically for those aged between those coming to the end of primary education (9-11) and those studying GCSE’s (15-16)
