About Mary
Hi, I’m Mary—lover of all things ocean-y, green, and planet-friendly! Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and Environmental Studies, plus a Master’s in Climate Change Science and Policy, I’m all about diving into the deep end of environmental issues (both literally and figuratively!). From guiding snorkelers through coral reefs to researching climate solutions, I’ve been on a mission to protect and understand our natural world. I’ve spent a few years as a sustainability consultant, tackling real-world problems and working on projects that made me even more excited about our planet’s future. But now, I’m ready to pass on my knowledge and passion to anyone curious about the wonders of nature, the science of biology, or how we can fight climate change. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me surfing, sewing, or plotting my next eco-friendly adventure.

Environmental Studies, Marine Biology, & Climate Change Enthusiast Do you want to dive deep into the ocean of marine biology, explore the wild world of ecosystems, or unravel the mysteries of climate change? With a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and Environmental Studies and a Master of Climate Change Science and Policy, I’m here to guide you through the twists and turns of our planet’s most pressing issues—while keeping it fun and engaging! My Lessons: My sessions are more like conversations—where your questions and curiosity lead the way. I break down tricky science-y stuff into bite-sized, digestible chunks, sprinkling in real-life examples (like how sea slugs are secretly fascinating or why coral reefs are the coolest). My goal is to make sure you leave each session feeling more confident, connected, and fired up about the natural world. What to Expect: Sessions last about 1 hour—just the right amount of time to get those brain gears turning without hitting overload. We’ll cover key topics and have some time for hands-on thinking (no boring lectures here!). I encourage active discussions, fun exercises, and thinking outside the box to tackle environmental challenges. Why Learn With Me? Apart from my degrees, I’ve spent years as a sustainability consultant and researcher, getting my hands dirty (literally and figuratively!) in solving real-world environmental puzzles. I also have experience teaching and facilitating workshops that help bring topics to life—so I know how to keep things interesting and practical. Who’s This For?
