Portuguese native speaker, MSc. and MRes. Aerospace engineer (first class honours). Extremely passionate about my native language and country, having lived in Lisbon for over 25 years. Very eager to share the very best Portugal has to offer, through teaching the wonderful language of Portuguese

My teaching methodology is highly tailored to the student needs, strongly focused on combining language learning with other aspects of Portuguese culture, to make lessons as engaging as possible (e.g., quizzes and other games, to be discussed with students to make sure they maximize their performance).
Classes will explore many aspects of Portuguese society (such as gastronomy, culture, tradition) to further develop the language and ground it to reality. After all, let's face it: what good is it to know that "the cat is in the library"?
