About Josefine
I have great pleasure in accompanying a student in their learning journey. Since I was a little girl, I started giving private lessons in German, English and Portuguese for beginners. I love the whole process of introducing a person to a new language, and I do it with dedication and fun. It is very important for me to understand what works best for you, and to tailor my classes to your interests. I am always ready to answer questions like “how do you say banana in German“ and “what is the meaning of life (in German)”.

Moin! I teach beginners who have little or no knowledge of German. My classes are not that theoretical, as I focus more on practicality so that you can start to understand, speak and write German quickly. For this reason, I do more exercises, dictations and dialogues, and that way you can learn the language naturally and the vocabulary starts to be present to you, without me having to hammer all the grammar into your increasingly brighter brain.
I'm a bit of a language & accents nerd so I really get a kick out of teaching.
