About Lia
Hello! I'm a final-year Portuguese/English Literature student and an English teacher since 2022. I have experience in language schools, teaching children from preschool to 5th grade, and also providing online private lessons for teenagers and adults. I believe that learning English should be a light, practical, and motivating experience. Therefore, I strive to create personalized lessons, respecting each student's level, goals, and learning pace. My classes are personalized according to each student's level, goals, and learning pace. Before starting, I conduct an assessment to identify needs and develop an efficient study plan. In Portuguese classes for Brazilians, I work on grammar, spelling, text interpretation, writing, school reinforcement, and test preparation, always using practical examples and activities that facilitate comprehension. In Portuguese classes for foreigners (Portuguese as a Foreign Language), I prioritize communication from the first contact with the language. I teach vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and cultural aspects of Brazil through conversation, texts, videos, and everyday situations, so that the student develops confidence in speaking. I use digital materials, exercises, periodic reviews, and continuous monitoring of the student's progress. Classes are for children, teenagers, and adults, from beginner to advanced levels, always in a welcoming, organized, and results-focused environment.
