About Jisu
I was born and raised in South Korea and came to the US 3 years ago.
I am currently working with 4 lovely students who are interested in boy bands like NCT, Stray Kids, Enhypen, and Korean dramas like When Life Gives You Tangerines, Extraordinary Attorney Woo and so forth. I am attentive, communicative, and passionate.
I can't wait to see you! Let's talk about K-drama and K-pop! My favorite dramas are Mr. Sunshine, Guardian Goblin, and Alchemy of Souls. I am recently watching Better Single Than Later, and I am into girl bands such as IVE, Blank Pink, and Idle. To be honest, I am more familiar with 2nd generation idols; SHINee, Girls' generation, KARA, Super Junior, etc.
I studied economics at Chung-Ang University, Seoul, and The New School, New York. I am in Tulsa, Oklahoma right now:) I am ready to talk about your favorites!

Korean class with fun material!
What to expect:
For beginners, I start with Hangeul (Korean Alphabet) and handwriting. When you get used to recognizing handwriting, we will move on to basic grammar with an intuitive textbook. Exciting games and videos are prepared for children. This class focuses on reading and learning useful words that your K-pop starts actually use. This will help you pick up the words Korean people use in their daily lives.
For intermediate class, we will practice conversation on various topics that you like. Clips of K-dramas, K-pop, and fun videos are prepared to learn useful expressions and improve listening and speaking. We will also work on intermediate grammar to actually build up the sentences and make you familiar with subtle nuances of different particles and suffixes.
For the advanced class, we will discuss high-level topics such as politics, economy, history, etc. If you are planning to study or work in Korea, this will be the best for you! Be prepared with Korean office culture and tips for effective presentation.

Jisu is such a wonderful teacher. She is very patient and always takes time to explain everything clearly, from vocabulary to grammar and how conjugations work.
