About Tanja
Dear parents,
I am a classically trained pianist and singer originally from Slovenia, specialised in musical theatre, currently in London.
I have been teaching for over 9 years in Slovenia and London - owned my own private school and taught in other well established schools. In the short two years that I have been here in London, my students have achieved outstanding results in their ABRSM exams - both in piano and singing, were complimented by the examiners, have won various school instrumentalists competitions and singing competitions (Wetherby prep, Pemrbidge Hall etc). The lessons are very educational yet informal, it's about having fun but with education in the forefront.
About my career - I have done a few shows here in London (BBC, ITV, ATC etc.), and am very known for my voice over work in Slovenia (especially Disney - Anna in Frozen; Merida in Brave etc). I am also a member of London Philharmonic Choir.
Teaching is a very demanding yet incredibly fulfilling job. I enjoy working with children as with adults to try and explore their full potential and inspire them with my own musical experiences. Seeing a child/person grow musically is, to me, truly fulfilling.
