About Reina
I am a piano teacher with 9 years of experience and hold a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano. My teaching philosophy centers on active musical involvement, helping students connect deeply with the music they play. I focus on developing artistic intent alongside technical skill, ensuring each learner grows as a complete musician.
Lessons are personalized to match each student’s goals, abilities, and learning style. I integrate music theory, history, technique, and creativity to create a well-rounded and engaging learning experience. Beginners build solid foundations in rhythm, scales, and sight-reading, while advanced students refine interpretation, improvisation, and performance skills.
I emphasize ear training, expressive playing, and musical storytelling to help students communicate through music. Practice routines are structured yet flexible, encouraging steady improvement while keeping lessons enjoyable. I have experience guiding students across all levels, from those just starting to professional performers preparing for concerts or exams.
I also support creative exploration, helping learners compose, improvise, and develop their unique musical voice. Every lesson balances technical mastery with artistic growth, nurturing confidence and passion for the piano. My goal is to inspire curiosity and motivate students to reach their full potential.
I warmly invite you to join my lessons and explore the joy of piano through a personalized and holistic approach. Together, we can develop skill, creativity, and a lifelong love for music.

My teaching approach focuses on building strong fundamentals while keeping lessons enjoyable and inspiring. I emphasize proper keyboard technique to help students play comfortably, accurately, and expressively. Beginners learn hand positioning, scales, and basic exercises, while advanced students explore complex pieces and performance techniques.
I integrate ear training so students can recognize melodies, chords, and harmonies by listening and reproducing them on the piano. Music theory is applied practically, helping learners understand chord progressions, key signatures, and rhythm in the context of real music. Performance skills are developed gradually, encouraging students to play confidently in front of others.
Lessons are tailored to individual goals, whether a young learner shows exceptional potential or an adult wishes to pursue piano as a rewarding hobby. I provide step-by-step guidance, supportive feedback, and structured practice routines to ensure steady progress. Creativity and musical expression are always encouraged, allowing students to explore their unique style.
I focus on developing passion alongside skill, helping learners enjoy the journey as much as the results. Every lesson combines technique, theory, and performance practice in a balanced way. My aim is to empower students to become confident, skilled, and expressive pianists.
