About Nadine
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and a Master of Music in Music Education, with 9 years of experience teaching students at all levels. My teaching philosophy combines rigorous technical instruction with opportunities for creative expression and musical exploration. I structure lessons to include exercises, repertoire, improvisation, and performance guidance, ensuring steady growth in skill and confidence.
I emphasize hand position, finger independence, sight-reading, scales, chords, dynamics, and expressive interpretation. Personalized guidance, constructive feedback, and a supportive atmosphere allow students to progress at their own pace. My focus is on nurturing musicality, technical skill, and performance confidence.

Beginners focus on proper hand position, simple scales, basic chords, rhythm exercises, and introductory repertoire. Intermediate learners advance to more complex fingerings, phrasing, dynamics, expression, and sight-reading. Advanced learners refine repertoire performance, pedal control, advanced sight-reading, ensemble participation, and stage confidence. Each lesson balances technique, musicality, and interpretation to ensure consistent skill growth and creative development.
Learning piano also develops concentration, discipline, and emotional expression. Students gain the ability to convey emotion through music, collaborate with peers, and perform confidently. My aim is to nurture technical mastery and artistic expression while cultivating a lifelong love for the instrument.
