About Ivana
With over 15 years of experience in music, the ability to play five instruments, two of which are the organ and the celeste, and almost a decade of teaching people ranging from ages 4-70+, I believe everyone has the right to learn, regardless of experience or age. I believe that learning music should be the foundation in everyone's life, for it helps in proper brain function, including memory, and brings the performer and the listener both joy and peace, reducing the constant stress people experience.

My method for teaching offers a complete study of the piano, from basic music theory to proper wrist formation to exude grace and confidence when performing. Using the Piano Adventures series fit for either children or adults, the student can expect to receive concise and complete lessons using fun exercises and memory builders, so that music and piano performance will become like a second nature. With over 15 years of experience in music, the ability to play five instruments, two of which are the organ and the celeste, and almost a decade of of teaching people ranging from ages 4-70+, I believe everyone has the right to learn, regardless of experience or age.

Perfect! As someone with little prior experience with piano lessons (~1 year of formal lessons as a kid), I was interested to see how restarting lessons as an adult would go. Ivana has been great at personalizing our lessons so that I am feeling challenged but not overwhelmed each week. She has done a great job at adapting the lessons to fit my skill level. Her lessons include a good balance of theory exercises as well as "fun" pieces that incentivize me to practice throughout the week. She gives great feedback and is very personable. Lessons are organized very well and she always sends a review message to guide me in my weekly practice. I am very happy I chose Ivana as a teacher and would recommend her to students of any experience level.

Ivana is excellent!!! A blend of encouraging and challenging, I've improved my piano skills dramatically with her instruction. As an adult with some piano experience, Ivana has helped take me to the next level. Excited to keep going! My boys (7 and 5) also take lessons with her. Learning at different paces, Ivana is able to differentiate instruction to meet their needs. She's very flexible with scheduling and is most easy to work with. Thanks, Ivana!
