About Joa
My name is Joaquín, and I’ve been deeply involved in music since the age of 10. What began as a childhood passion quickly became a lifelong commitment to both performance and teaching. I studied for 10 years at the National Conservatory of Argentina, where I pursued degrees in Choir and Orchestra Conducting, as well as Piano and Voice. Throughout my time there, I had the privilege of learning from renowned maestros, including internationally recognized conductors such as Roberto Luvini, concert pianists like Nora Orbea, and acclaimed choral directors like Silvia Leidemann. Before entering the conservatory, I received private instruction from a variety of respected teachers, laying a strong foundation in classical technique and musical expression from an early age. Beyond my academic training, I’ve had a rich and diverse performance career—playing in rock, jazz, and fusion bands, while also performing classical music in concert halls. This wide range of experience has shaped my teaching approach, allowing me to connect with students from all musical backgrounds and interests. For over 16 years, I’ve been dedicated to teaching piano and voice, conducting choirs and orchestras, and helping students discover their own musical identity. I love creating a space where learning is both inspiring and enjoyable—whether you're aiming for technical mastery, creative freedom, or just the joy of making music.

Welcome! My piano lessons are open to beginners, intermediate, and advanced students of all ages. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your technique, I offer a personalized and engaging approach that adapts to your goals and musical interests.

Modern genres: including rock, blues, jazz, pop, and film music.

How the Lessons Work:
My classes are dynamic, interactive, and fun. I combine technical exercises with creative tasks to keep students motivated and progressing steadily. Each lesson is customized to fit your pace, goals, and favorite styles.
I use a variety of tools: sheet music, lead sheets, play-alongs, backing tracks, and sometimes even improvisational games or mini composition challenges to keep things fresh.
