About Hunter
I am a piano tutor with 10 years of experience and a PhD in Piano Performance. I enjoy helping students transform dedication into confident performances through encouraging lessons and practical musical guidance.
My teaching approach focuses on patience, flexibility, and individual learning goals. Every student receives lessons that build both technical skill and artistic confidence at a comfortable pace.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing piano recitals, arranging music for ensembles, and exploring different keyboard traditions. These experiences help me bring fresh ideas and valuable musical knowledge into every lesson.

My piano lessons are designed to help students enjoy music while building strong technical foundations. We practice note reading, rhythm training, finger independence, scales, chords, hand coordination, articulation, dynamics, and expressive playing through structured activities that encourage confidence from the beginning.
As students become more experienced, we work on improvisation, duet performance, pedal control, accompaniment patterns, sight reading, tone shaping, musical phrasing, and recital preparation. Personalized feedback and practical exercises help learners improve steadily while enjoying every stage of their musical development.
My goal is to help students become skilled pianists who perform with confidence and creativity. Every lesson develops musical understanding, technical accuracy, and lasting enjoyment of piano playing.
