Richard and I have been friends for years and he has taught me a lot about music in general and we've had several informal sessions of music theory. He makes everything very easy to understand, even to a layperson. He can provide clear examples which are easy to remember. One example is when he explained time signatures using different dances as reference points. He demonstrates great patience and a vast knowledge as a teacher.
