About Eloysa
I am a pianist graduated from the Mannes School of Music in New York. I have performed numerous recitals as a soloist and with ensembles, specializing in the classical repertoire. In addition, I have received honors for my academic work in music theory, analysis, and history. Along with my studies and artistic career, I have developed as a piano and music theory teacher, introducing students to music for the first time and reinforcing the knowledge of more advanced students so that they continue to grow and progress in their musical studies.

My classes are flexible and I structure them around the objectives and expectations of each student starting from the level at which each one is. For piano lessons in general I focus on developing an adequate, efficient and healthy technique to play the instrument; score reading; harmony on the piano to give tools for analysis, composition and improvisation; and music theory for auditory development. For theory classes it is similar, only with a deeper focus on theory, harmony and counterpoint, always having as a priority the musical and creative application of this knowledge.
