About Kathryn
I have been a Physiotherapist for 30 years and worked in clinical settings throughout the metro area, Australia and overseas. I have been a Clinical Tutor at both UNDA and Curtin over the past 20 years assisting students in 2nd, 3rd and 4th years on Clinical placement in a variety of specialties. This includes Cardiothoracics, Rheumatology and chronic pain musculoskeletal settings, amputees, acute geriatrics, Neurology (rehab), hydrotherapy General Medical wards and oncology across FSH, RPH, SCGH, Rockingham, Osborne Park and Fremantle Hospitals. I had my own Private Practice working with two Rheumatologists in Perth and have a Post Grad qualifications in Health Promotion. This aligns with work relating to chronic disease self-management strategies. I am passionate about empowering patients to self-manage their chronic conditions and have gained great satisfaction in this area through my career and find myself forever exploring how best we can do this as physiotherapists.

I'm a Physiotherapist currently working in Perth with extensive experience in both acute (including ICU) and rehabilitation as well as community clinical settings, and in a Clinical Tutoring capacity. I am passionate about supporting students on placement in a way that corresponds with their learning style. If you need assistance with your clinical reasoning and converting your extensive learned theory into practice, I am confident I can assist you in gaining clarity and confidence in this process in both a written and practical context. 50-minute sessions can be held via Zoom or Face to Face if that is your preference. Flexible scheduling is available weekly.
