About Samy
I am a dedicated and passionate individual, and I have found my passion and what drives me in this profession. I am a qualified physiotherapist with a Master’s degree (MSc) in Cancer Rehabilitation. I have worked in clinical settings at a cancer hospital, and I am currently pursuing my PhD in Sports Health and Exercise Science (Exercise Oncology), running a clinical trial for breast cancer patients. This background has allowed me to acquire knowledge across various settings, from research and ethics to exercise prescription and rehabilitation. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, and I am motivated to help and share knowledge!

As a qualified Physiotherapist with an MSc in Cancer Rehabilitation and a current PhD researcher in Exercise Oncology, I bring a solid academic background to share with you in every session. I have experience in MSK, respiratory physiotherapy, ICU care, and exercise prescription, and have worked with diverse patient populations, especially cancer patients. My approach is evidence-based, patient-centred, and tailored to your unique needs — whether you're looking for rehabilitation, exercise prescription, fitness guidance, or simple or specialised exercise programmes. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge, helping people regain strength, mobility, and confidence through carefully designed exercise plans. I believe in creating supportive, motivating environments where progress feels achievable and sustainable. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though I am flexible depending on your needs. My lessons are designed for undergraduate and postgraduate students in physiotherapy or health sciences, health professionals seeking additional training, or anyone interested in rehabilitation, oncology exercise, and clinical practice. I tailor my approach to each student’s level, background, and learning style. My teaching approach emphasises boosting students’ confidence by first helping them understand that the subject is more approachable than it may initially appear. I then engage them with a series of questions and practical exercises to pinpoint areas where they might need further support.
