About Sherla
I am going into my third year as a physics student at the University of Edinburgh. I am really passionate about particle physics and quantum mechanics, having achieved a first in those modules at uni. I exercised my maths skills during my 2 week work experience at UBS in the quantitive finance field. I enjoy teaching because I like seeing my students understand the theory and gain confidence in their own skills.

To help the student understand the material, I often use textbooks or online resources, making sure to tailor to their needs. Then, using past papers and exam style questions, I help the student consolidate the theory and gain confidence in preparation for the exam. A lesson is typically 1 - 2 hours and I prefer for them to be online, but I can organise to have them in person. I have past experience tutoring maths at GCSE level. I achieved the highest grade in maths for International Baccalaureate with 42 points overall making me well qualified. My lessons are targeted for any ages from 11 years old to 18 years old (senior school)
