About Sevi
Hello! I hold an MSc and have spent over 4 years tutoring Physics to more than 200 students from GCSE through to advanced university study. I have genuine expertise across the full Physics curriculum including Classical Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Electromagnetism, Waves and Optics, Nuclear and Particle Physics, and Quantum Mechanics. I also support the mathematical tools Physics demands at every level — calculus, vectors, complex numbers, and differential equations for university students.
I am passionate about Physics and deeply committed to helping every student I work with build real, flexible understanding alongside strong exam technique. I have helped students who came to me failing Physics turn it into one of their strongest subjects, and I bring that same commitment, patience, and high standards to every student, at every level, in every session.

My Physics teaching approach is dual-track by design: I develop conceptual understanding and mathematical problem-solving ability together throughout every session, because top Physics performance requires both and neither can be neglected. Every topic I teach starts with real-world grounding — making the physics feel relevant and intuitive before we move into equations and quantitative problem-solving. From there I follow a structured teaching cycle of clear concept explanation, formula derivation with physical reasoning, worked examples with narrated step-by-step thinking, and independent practice with detailed feedback.
I teach students to never treat a formula as just a symbol to plug numbers into. I make sure every student understands the physical meaning behind each equation, the assumptions built into it, and the conditions under which it applies — because this depth of understanding is what gives students the flexibility to tackle even the most unfamiliar exam questions with confidence. Past paper practice is central to my approach, and I teach a reliable systematic method for approaching every Physics question: read carefully, identify knowns and unknowns, choose appropriate principles, work through methodically with clear notation, and verify the physical reasonableness of the answer.
