About Harold
I've been working as a Mechanical Engineer since 1997 and have been tutoring Physics, Science, and Mathematics for several years. I also have several years of experience as an instructor/trainer in Scouting. In 2019, I started the teacher training program for Physics Teacher (second grade), for which I received my qualification/diploma in July 2025.

I prefer to provide one-on-one tutoring and exam preparation, adapting the methodology to the individual student's needs. I use the structure of the student's school's teaching materials, but can deviate from them if this proves more beneficial for the student. I also try to provide practical examples of how the material can be applied in real life. This makes the theory more tangible.

Perfect! Harold legt dingen die Naud moeilijk vindt goed uit met goede en leuke voorbeelden. Hij laat Naud zelf goed nadenken hoe hij een probleem kan oplossen.
- Dionne heeft mij gecontacteerd om haar zoon Naud bijlessen natuurkunde te geven bij hen thuis. De resultaten zijn goed, na de 1e toetsweek kwam Naud thuis met een dikke 7,4. Naud is gemotiveerd, doet goed mee en stelt goede vragen. Ga zo door Naud!Harold's response :

Ik heb veel aan Harold gehad. Hij denkt met je mee en laat je vooral ook zelf veel dingen doen. Hij legt onderwerpen en opdrachten (online) duidelijk uit en geeft hints als je er niet uitkomt. Ik ben dankzij hem (en mezelf:) geslaagd.
Ik kan Harold aanbevelen aan degenen die Natuurkunde doen op de middelbare school en hulp nodig hebben om voldoendes te halen.
Mvg- Ties was een fijne leerling die met de (extra) uitleg (examentraining) snel uit de voeten kan. Soms liep hij vast, maar met af een toe een hint kwam hij er toch steeds uit. Fijn dat hij nu geslaagd is. Gefeliciteerd Ties!Harold's response :

Zijn uitleg online is duidelijk en helder, ook zet hij je aan het werk en geeft hij je hints i.p.v antwoorden te noemen. Ik ben mede door hem (en mezelf:) geslaagd.
Kortom, wil je voor een schappelijke prijs effectief natuurkunde bijles krijgen, dan is Harold als bijles-docent een uitstekende keuze.
MvgHarold geeft mij superfijne lessen. Hij heeft geduld en legt iets rustig uit totdat ik het echt snap, ook al is daar 10 x dezelfde uitleg voor nodig. Ik raad hem zeker aan!
Rustig en geduldig, uitleg afstemmend op mijn zoon (14 jaar), kortom een goede bijlesdocent, zeker aan te raden!
