About Katie
I am a rising senior at the University of Oregon working towards a Bachelor's degree in physics! I love learning about astronomy and the universe. I find it really interesting to understand the world around me through the eyes of physics and astronomy! Math happens to be a crucial part of physics and I've always loved solving problems. It can be really rewarding getting to the end of a problem and getting it right, but it also takes a lot of patience and perseverance! I want to help you be excited about math and have access to this outlook of the world like I do.

As a tutor, my priority is to help the student gain a full understanding of the mathematical concepts they are stuck on. In order to succeed in this, the student and I will look over lingering questions on their homework, introduce new ways of thinking about the subject that the student can fully grasp, and create an inviting and open space for the student to feel comfortable in. I want to make learning math fun and engaging for the student! I am best fit to help middle school or high school students learning algebra, pre-calculus, calculus AB, or trigonometry.
