About Spencer
I have a Bachelor's degree in both Physics and Mathematics from WPI. I received the Salisbury Prize in Physics and a meritorious senior award in mathematics and am a member of both the National Physics and National Mathematics Honors Society.
I have worked in two physics labs, performing research ranging from Terahertz Spectroscopy to Fluid Mechanics.
I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Physics from Brown University.

I love to share my passion for math and physics with others. I am a very practical tutor. I like to supplement worked examples with real physical lessons. A combination of hands-on learning and pen-and-paper calculations. My specialty is making math and physics feel relevant to everyone!
Most lessons begin with a review of the material and then advance to collaborative problem-solving. If the student has specific problems they are stuck on, I am happy to work through similar examples and review specific problem-solving methods.
Lessons are available at the high school and college levels.
