About Dorothea
"The smell of chalk dust and the hum of lab equipment first drew me into the world of physics as a student. After teaching 374 students over 6 years, I have refined my focus to cover practical and lab work, thermodynamics, numerical problem solving, conceptual learning, and optics.
As a PhD candidate in Statistics from the University of Oxford, I combine rigorous data analysis with physical principles to help you visualise exactly how systems behave under pressure. I provide comprehensive homework help to ensure your foundations remain strong. It is my goal to ensure you feel confident walking into any examination room."

"Many students get lost in the algebra before they even reach the physics concepts. I admit that I once struggled with these same derivations until I stopped memorising and started calculating. We will work through optics and thermodynamics by breaking down every formula into its logical components. Since I am a PhD candidate in Statistics, I teach you how to treat numerical problem solving as a systematic process rather than a guessing game.
I provide free access to my personal derivation and formula notes for all of my regular students. We use these resources to build your exam technique step by step. You will find that these materials make the abstract parts of the curriculum feel much more grounded."
