About James
I'm fascinated by science and would love to be able to share this passion with others. I think being deeply interested in the subject is the most important thing to help in teaching as well as always being clear and patient. I'm fairly new to tutoring but I have relevant experience working with children at the Centre for Life in Newcastle where I helped set up workshops to assist in the demonstrations.

My philosophy towards teaching has always been trying to make the subject as interesting as possible and to help the student do as much practice as possible. I try to be clear on how the students will achieve their goals and I am geared towards students with a strong work ethic. Lessons will typically focus on plenty of worksheet questions and an emphasis on learning key concepts. This will also include students being given resources to help with retention as well as homework to further develop what was learnt in the lesson.
