About Brooke
I’ve been tutoring mathematics for over four years. I love all types of mathematics, but my favorite subcategories to teach are algebra and calculus! I’ve helped dozens of students improve their grades and standardized test scores. I also tutor calculus-based courses, such as physics and business calculus as I have extensive knowledge in those areas from my research and community involvement. In my spare time, I love to teach the public about astronomy, and get to do so as a host at the Northwestern observatory!

I love working with each student to figure out what is best for them! I have my own practice sheets already prepared, but I will also create additional ones depending on a student’s needs. I often work with worksheets or practice problems students bring to me too, which are just as useful! I’m here to help with whatever problems you need. I like taking a collaborative approach and discussing problems together. I will always let the learner attempt problems first, I’m just here to make sure you stay on the right track! If there is substantial confusion, I’m always happy to give a full explanation and then create a similar problem to make sure the conceptual aspect has been made clear.
