About Márcio
Hello, how are you?
My name is Marcio, I have a degree in Physics from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), and I hold a master's and PhD in Theoretical Physics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). I have been working as a physics and mathematics teacher in both public and private schools since 2015.
Currently, I live with my girlfriend and our three cats, and I also work as a data scientist at a startup. In my free time, I enjoy watching anime and playing various games (my favorites are RPG, adventure, puzzle games, and... I confess, a LoL to stress me out from time to time). I also have a podcast called "Almost Physics," where I invite some friends to talk about physics in a relaxed way and give insights into academic life.
My goal for the future is to become a university professor. I recently finished my PhD and am starting a postdoctoral fellowship in the area of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (by the way, do you also want to learn how to program in Python? Maybe I can help you, hehe).
I am here to assist you in any way I can, and I hope I can help you achieve your goals, whatever they may be.

I always aim to start from what is known to the student so that we can reach a mutual understanding of the content. I base much of my methodology on simple examples that are easily connected by the student. Feel free to ask anything. Like, anything AT ALL.
Classes are remote via Google Meet, WhatsApp, Discord, or any other platform you feel more comfortable with. I use a digital tablet to solve exercises and can recommend materials such as books, videos, and games (why not?) so we can delve deeper into one topic or another.
I can help you with various topics, among some:
Basic and advanced physics:
- everything in the summary of your high school textbook, PLUS: modern physics (quantum and relativity) and contemporary physics (particle physics, open problems in physics, curiosities, etc.)
Basic and advanced mathematics:
- From "2+2 = 4" to triple integrals of differential calculus, that is, everything that is discussed from basic to higher education.
If you haven't learned some content up to this point, that's okay, because my goal is that you don't go through me without having learned!
